Where Can You Sell Old Electronics for Money?
What makes an item eligible, what moves the figure up or down, and how the enquiry works before anything leaves your home.
What makes an item eligible
Almost any electronic device can be handed over for recycling. Whether it carries a value is a different question, and it comes down to two things: can it be reused, and how much recoverable material is inside it.
People looking for where to sell old electronics for cash usually have the same two worries - that a broken item is worthless, and that a quote will be revised downwards on arrival. The sections below deal with both.
Sellable — likely to carry resale value
- Laptops and desktops that power on, particularly recent business-grade machines
- Working servers, switches and networking equipment
- Recent smartphones and tablets
- Working monitors and printers from an office environment
Recyclable — collected, but little or no cash value
- Devices that will not power on and have no reuse market
- Very old or consumer-grade equipment
- Items stripped of memory, drives or boards
- Burned, water-damaged or physically crushed equipment
Both kinds can be collected. The difference is what the figure looks like at the end.
What moves the figure
Whether it works
The single largest factor. A machine that boots can be rehomed and is valued as hardware; one that does not is valued on parts.
Model and age
Business product lines hold value longer than consumer lines because they resell into offices and schools. The model number on the base panel is the most useful single detail you can give us.
Completeness
Memory, drives, cards and chargers that are still present all count. A stripped tower is close to scrap steel value.
What is inside the load
A box of circuit boards or a coil of copper cable can outweigh the machines around it in value per kilo, because the recoverable metal fraction is higher.
The market
Metal markets move. A figure given today is for today's load, which is also why no rate is published on this page.
How to enquire
1. Describe the items
Type, quantity and whether they power on. Brand and model help if you have them.
2. Send photos
A picture of the stack, or of any label with a model number, is usually faster than a written list.
3. Confirm location
Your area in Pune or PCMC. This determines what collection options apply.
4. Agree what comes next
Collection arrangement or delivery to the facility, whichever fits your situation.
Call or WhatsApp 93590 29457, or use the contact page.
What we will not tell you
No price list and no fixed rate. Rates that appear on the internet for "old laptop scrap" are either out of date or invented. We assess the load you actually have, and the figure applies to that load. If you want a number before deciding anything, that is what the enquiry is for.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I sell old electronics for cash in Pune?
Enquire with a buyer that can tell you what happens to the equipment afterwards. Call or WhatsApp +91 93590 29457 with the item details, or use the contact page. We confirm whether the equipment is accepted and what the next step is.
Is every old device worth money?
No. Items with no reuse potential and little recoverable material are worth very little, though they can still be collected for recycling. Value sits mainly in equipment that works, recent business-grade hardware, and loads containing copper or circuit boards.
Does a broken item have any value?
Often yes, for its components rather than as a working device. A laptop that will not power on is still assessed on its memory, board, display panel and chassis materials.
Do I need the original box or accessories?
No. Having the charger helps slightly. The box makes no difference.
How is the money paid?
Payment method and timing are confirmed for your specific arrangement when you enquire. Nothing is promised on this page in advance.
