What counts as electronic scrap

People searching for e scrap dealers Pune are usually after the material value of a load rather than a buyer for working machines. Both are handled here, but they are valued differently, so it is worth separating them.

Electronic scrap is discarded equipment and the material inside it. In practice, a load usually contains three different things, each valued differently:

Reusable equipment

Working machines. Worth more intact than dismantled, and the reason a pure per-kilo quote often undervalues a load.

Component value

Circuit boards, memory, processors, power supplies and drives. Boards in particular carry recoverable precious metal in contacts and plating, which is why they are worth more per kilo than the surrounding metal.

Material value

Copper in cable, aluminium in heatsinks, steel in chassis, plastics. This is what "scrap" usually means, and it is the lowest of the three.

The categories we handle are listed on what we accept.

Bulk enquiries

Offices, schools and institutions clear equipment in quantities that need a different approach from a household pickup:

Requesting a quotation

Category

What kind of equipment - towers, screens, servers, cable, boards.

Quantity

A count or an approximate figure.

Condition

Whether items power on, and anything missing or damaged.

Location

Your area in Pune or PCMC.

Contact details

A number you can be reached on. Call or WhatsApp 93590 29457, or use the contact page.

What a quotation will and will not tell you

It will tell you what applies to the load you described. It will not be a guarantee against what is found on inspection - a machine described as working that does not boot will be assessed differently. Again, that is how second-hand equipment works, and any dealer who does otherwise is planning a revision.

Frequently asked questions

What is electronic scrap?

Discarded electronic equipment and the parts inside it - towers, screens, boards, cable, power supplies, drives. The term is usually used for the material value of the equipment rather than for equipment that will be reused.

Do you deal with bulk loads?

Yes. Offices, institutions and businesses can enquire about larger quantities. Bulk loads are assessed as a whole and usually need a count or asset list rather than individual item descriptions.

Do you buy scrap by weight?

Scrap is one factor, not the only one. Working equipment is assessed for reuse value, which is usually higher. A per-kilo figure applied to everything is rarely a good deal for the seller.

What do you need for a quotation?

Category, approximate quantity, condition, location and contact details. An asset list is ideal for bulk loads.
